Compusult offer a comprehensive proprietary online backup system.  Utilising full 256bit encryption, your data is transferred securely to the Compusult data vault for storage.  Online backup enables you to move data offsite without the hassle of managing tapes and removable hard drives.  Not only does the Compusult online backup system look at what files have changed, it also looks at what has changed within those files, and uploads only what it needs to.

The process can be summarised by the following steps:

• Backup agents locate files that have been changed since the last backup cycle
• Assessment is then made to ascertain what portion of these files has altered
• These changes (or "In-file Delta") are zipped into one file for upload
• The upload file is then encrypted and uploaded to the Compusult data vault
• The Compusult Online Backup system recompiles the files and verifies their integrity
• A daily report is issued directly to the end user in order to ensure that you are kept informed of backup status

The Compusult online backup system is available in two formats

• Compusult - Online Backup Manager  -  Designed specifically for Servers, the Compusult - Online Backup Manager (OBM) enables you to backup critical server data to ensure that you are never caught without data protection. 
• Compusult - A-Click Backup  -  Designed primarily for workstations & notebooks, the Compusult A-Click Backup (ACB) gives access to a subset of features allowing for robust online backup of your critical data - even if it is on the move.
